Dr. Shaffer completed his undergraduate studies at Bowling Green State University and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, Georgia in 1991. He is licensed to practice in both Ohio and California. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Chiropractic
Association, the Ohio State Chiropractic Association and the Miami Valley Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Shaffer grew up in Brookville, where his dad, Dr. Don Shaffer, the patriarch of the Shaffer family, was the first of the Shaffers to become a chiropractor in 196???. There are currently nine chiropractors within the Shaffer family, with his son and nephew also in the process of pursuing their chiropractic degrees.
